EXG Delivers Cold Boxes Safely and Efficiently with Precision and Expertise

1. Seamless Transportation of 18 Packages:
EXG successfully transported a total of 18 packages for one of their esteemed clients, showcasing their expertise in handling complex, oversized cargo. The consignment included:

2 Cold Boxes:
Dimensions: 62.7 meters (L) x 6.56 meters (W) x 6.6 meters (H)
Weight: Each cold box weighed an impressive 232.5 metric tons, highlighting the need for precise logistical planning and execution.
1 Heat Exchanger, along with other key cargo components.

Route:
The journey covered a significant distance from Hazira Port to the designated site, requiring meticulous coordination and preparation.

2. Advanced Equipment Utilized:
Hydraulic Axles:
A configuration of 28 axles was employed to distribute the cargo’s weight evenly and ensure stable transportation.
SPMTs (Self-Propelled Modular Transporters):
We utilized 24 axles to efficiently maneuver the cargo through various route challenges.

3. Challenges/Obstacle Management:
During this project, their team performed essential civil work to ensure the safe passage of these oversized packages:

Road and Infrastructure Preparation:
They pre-emptively filled potholes along the route to guarantee a smooth and damage-free transit for the heavy cargo.
Dismantling and Reinstallation of Infrastructure:
To accommodate the dimensions of the cargo, they collaborated with local authorities to temporarily dismantle electrical wiring, camera poles, and navigation boards. All elements were reinstalled promptly after the cargo passed, minimizing disruptions.
Handling Complex Turns:
Given the significant length of the cargo, navigating tight curves was a challenge. They dismantled road dividers and swiftly rebuilt them after the cargo cleared the area, ensuring smooth traffic flow and safety.
