Polaris Projects concludes 2024 with remarkable Achievements and a Positive Note!

Polaris Projects, the specialized project division of Polaris Shipping Agencies LLC, UAE, celebrated a successful close to 2024 by completing several critical time-sensitive shipments.

A key highlight of the year was the Polaris Automotive Division’s involvement in a historic journey inspired by Australian adventurer Francis Birtles’ legendary drive from London to Melbourne nearly a century ago. Daily Telegraph cartoonist Warren Brown and editor-at-large Matthew Benns embarked on an epic 24,000 km expedition in their vintage Bean roadster to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, a charity proudly supported by King Charles as its patron.

In the UAE, Polaris played a crucial role in ensuring the journey progressed seamlessly.

Our dedicated team managed the traveller’s entry at the UAE border from Saudi Arabia, facilitated all necessary formalities, including customs clearance, and supervised the containerization and onward shipment of the Bean roadster and Ford dual-cab support vehicle to Singapore.

Polaris Projects successfully also concluded a deal to handle the transportation of around 4500 CBM of used construction equipment’s including Rock trucks, Backhoes and pipelayers from multiple origins to Jebel Ali for storage and distribution. The first shipment has already arrived at our designated storage facility.

Our scope of work includes receiving the units on an FAS (Free Alongside Ship) basis at UAE ports, water wash cleaning, conducting quality checks, reassembling dismantled accessories, and performing necessary repairs. Additionally, Polaris manages all associated logistics activities. We also facilitate physical inspections of the stored units for potential buyers. Once a sale is finalized, the units will be shipped to prospective buyers under Polaris’ contract.
