Network Global Logistics – Dump Truck Multimodal Transportation to Kazakhstan via Istanbul

Network Global Logistics, a member of EPN, recently transported seven units of CAT 785 dump trucks from Bremerhaven, Germany and Antwerp, Belgium, bound for Kazakhstan. The cargo weighed 650 tons and took up a volume of 2,500 cubic meters. The load was intended to be deployed at mining sites where it would ultimately be used.

The cargo was dismantled before being moved on a chartered vessel via sea to Istanbul, Turkey. At that point, the cargo was unloaded from the ship with the aid of cranes onto several trailers before being transported by road to the mining sites.

The project posed no significant challenges thanks to Network Global Logistics’ vast experience. The team was well acquainted with the route and had conducted extensive planning before embarking on the journey—which helped eliminate any potential problems from occurring.

The company’s experts implemented measures that would prevent any problems from arising during execution, resulting in the successful delivery of the dump trucks, ensuring that they arrived in perfect condition and to the client’s complete satisfaction.
